This salon has been extremely disappointing for me. I used to go for massage until the last two times I was scheduled, they cancelled me within an hour of the appt because the masseuse didn't show up.I got a pedicure one time, it was uncomfortable seating and they used a foot soak bucket (similar to what you buy at Walmart) so the water was cold also. They had a very limited amount of colors to choose from, so it's best to take your polish with you.Yesterday I decided to give them another try, so I left a message to find out the cost of a spiral perm. This morning I get a phone call stating "we have someone that can do your perm, she is here today and has availability at 9:45am. Before she can quote you she needs to see your hair first, I said I would stop by now so she could see it, then be back there by 9:45 for the perm, the person on the phone stated "ok, so do you want me to schedule you for 9:45? I arrived at 9am for what I understood to be the consult. When I arrived, the lobby was empty, the receptionist was on the phone, then another phone rang and she answered that asking the caller to hold. She finished with the first caller, then took the 2nd caller before acknowledging me. I waited approx. 5 min. only for her to say, oh she's with someone now, she can't see you. I told her that I must have misunderstood because the way she explained it to me sounded as though I had an appt. For a perm at 9:45. She should've been clearer and had she been listening to me, she would've known I was on my way now for a consult. Bottom line is that I cancelled and refuse to go back.Clearly these other 5 star very detailed reviews are written by the staff members or their friends/family.

Kyle Kurtis Salon is by far the best salon I have ever been to. I LOVE Danielle's facials. When I go there, not only do I feel relaxed, but I am also excited to treat myself. Amy and her staff do a wonderful job making every client feel special. Oh, and by the way, Casey gave me the best haircut I've ever had. EVER. I felt more beautiful after I left her chair than I have ever felt.

Definitely a great salon! not your normal assembly line shop. Just the ambiance of the salon is relaxing then you have the staff. I have had nothing but great experiences with the owner Amy (who applied my permanant eye liner) Casey West is my hair stylist that always works professionally and is very polite and personable. Danielle for my facials, Laura for my nails, Alissa for my massages, all present themselves in a professional manner. This is a great salon. I have fine hair and it has been hard to find someone to cut it correctly. I drive from Sarasota (about 30 - 40 min.) to get my hair cut. It is worth it.

Kyle Kurtis is the best salon and spa in Southwest Florida hands down. I could drive to Sarasota or Ft. Myers, but I don't because Kayla Dunaway does THE best color and cuts. Daniela Porto will give you a relaxing facial and even tame those eyebrows. Truly, Amy has compiled the best of the best in the beauty industry and has placed them in our little town of North Port. This salon offers an amazing spa experience with an affordable price tag. Donna gives a great men's haircut and Kayla is always able to make my wife happy with her experience and expertise in blonde hair coloring and styling. The staff is always friendly and able to answer any questions we may have. the spa side is great as well. My wife and have included massages with Alissa in our weekly budget. defiantly the best North Port has to offer.

I go to Laura for pedicures and she is fantastic! The salon is immaculate, staff welcoming, prices are reasonable and I really feel good when I have used Gwynne any of their services. Husband goes there for haircuts and he won't go anywhere else. I won't go anywhere that masks are worn and staff is too busy chatting amongst themselves. Absolutely FABULOUS staff, services and products! From hair, nails, permanent makeup, facials, massage -- I've experienced them all and continue to be extremely pleased. Not only are the staff professional and encouraged to advance their training and skills, they are friendly and do their utmost to provide clients with exceptional experiences in a very timely manner. The only time I've ever had to wait has been when I showed up early for my appointments. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else!! The salon's atmosphere is extraordinary, it's well appointed, stylishly decorated, warm , comfortable and inviting. I've always been impressed with the vibe of happy clients delighted with the services they've received. Just simply an AWESOME place to treat yourself to pampering. In addition, salon owner Amy Schuldt is involved in the community at large and is tremendously active with local events, especially those tthat promote programs for women. I was glowing and my face was flawless---I cannot tell you how many compliments I received that day. I felt like a Princess and everyone took notice, thanks to the makeup from KyleKurtis!!! ~I have also gotten a facial and it was incredibly relaxing... The atmosphere is calming, clean and the staff is flooding with friendliness and professionalism. You cannot help but to feel better when you leave than when you walk in!!!! Coming from Jersey I am very picky about where I have my hair done! Best Salon and Spa in Florida! Color and cut is always perfect.....My whole family goes here including my boys getting their fades/spiked cut...we are all always asked where we have our hair done! Great to have a local place to get a full pampered spa day...husband treated me for Mother's day and it was awesome! Staff is like no other...above the rest!
