Do your homework! There is no other NAEYC accredited program,l 4+ stars, Florida Gold Seal. This is not baby sitting. You are giving your child the advantage, the head start of early learnng. One of a kind! Right in our neighborhood! We are so so so so lucky!! I would not send my child anywhere else.!
My child/children have been going to this school for a very long time. My older child was so so ready for school when he entered kindergarten. I actually think he could have skipped it and gone right to 1st grade! They loved school and wanted to go everyday, even on the weekends! I love the teachers, they are so good with the children and most of them have been there for a long time so they are like part of the family. The school is clean, bright and has a ton of things for the kids to do. What I noticed most was that the children are so happy and well behaved. I think there is so many cool things to do that they are really just learning and having fun, playing with purpose! I just can't say enough!!

I sent my twin daughters there for VPK 2011-12 program. It was so much more than I expected. I am amazed how much my girls have learned. They are more than kindergarten ready. The staff is wonderful! They are so in touch with each individual child. I was so impressed with just not the academic part but things like planting a vegetable garden or going on an explore walk for dino bones cuz that's what they were learning that week. Can't say enough! Love the program. Ms Tanya, you made their first experience more than I could have ever asked. Thank you! Ms Brenda, your new school is lucky to have you! Thank you! 'A' and 'I' will miss you.

I tell everyone about the Academy for Early Learning. Ive got to know and love the staff there. They are caring and understanding. I feel very confident that my child is learning and being loved.
The Academy for Early Learning provides a planned developmentally appropriate, individualized curriculum for children and assessments, progress reports, portfolios and newsletters for parents!
The children learn through play, as well as with structured activities in the classroom learning centers. They may work independently and /or with teacher direction depending on the child &/or subject matter.
The first five years are the most important time in a child's development. Let them develop reading readiness, math skills, large & fine motor skills, cognitive thinking, social and emotional skills at the Academy for Early Learning! I have visited many centers and this one is Top Notch.

I would not reccomend this place for anyone to take thier children. If you do I would reccomend you look into the way things are run and if you have a gut feeling that something is off I would not ignore it! As a mother of 2 I understand accidents happen but as an adult I expect people to act responsibly....my child ended up with permanent damage in result of neglect in this facility and when I inquired with questions so that I could help my child by giving doctors important information needed from the facilty they would not help me nor would they then acknowledge the incident happend. Good thing I had a copy of the accident report and after 6 months of care my child has begun to improve. They never contacted me to see if he was ok. I was very disappointed and now know why I saw so many unhappy parents pull thier children out of this facilty. I would just be sure you are activly involved if your child is under thier care. If I could give it zero star rating I would.
This program is world class. The first center is Sarasota county to achieve NAEYC accreditation; an honor earned by a mere 6% of the centers in the whole country. The accelerated school readiness program, with gifted curriculum, is designed for children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years old. The program is a preferred provider of the Childcare Connection scholarship fund as well as Military scholarship. The program also provides the state funded VPK program (a free, school year, program for four year old children that will be attending kindergarten the following year). The owner has completed her masters program in preschool education and her passion and commitment is evident in every dimension of this Florida Gold Seal, world class program.
This program was the first program in Sarasota county to achieve NAEYC accreditation, an honor reached by a mere 6% of programs in the entire country. The program excels in every dimension from the staff, curriculum, administration, environment, health & safety. The classrooms are huge and bright. The children's work is displayed like a children's museum. The children are engaged and happy. It is a gift to have such a strong, world class program right in our neighborhood. The program is a preferred provider of the Childcare Connection and Military scholarship programs; as well as a provider of the state funded VPK program (a free, 4 hour per day, school year program for children that will be attending kindergarten the following year).
I highly recommend the Academy; A Fl gold seal of excellence holder, & the very first program in Sarasota county to achieve national accreditation by the National Assoc. for the Ed, of Young Children (the gold standard of approval according to Parenting Magazine and experts in the field of early childhood). An achievement reached by less than 6% of licensed centers in the whole country! The owner has complete her masters program in preschool education and her dedication is evident in every aspect of the high quality program. Historically 30% of the graduates have been admitted into the gifted program at their designated public school by age 7. The space is huge, bright and beautiful! The playground is amazing. The staff, best in class! A nationally accredited program is the only real choice for your child's early learning and quality care! Come see for yourself, there is nothing like it. There is an Academy in Port Charlotte and N. Venice as well.
I went to look at this place and could not leave fast enough. Two kids were crying on the swings and the teachers ignored them. The floors looked very dirty and there was a cd player plugged into an electrical socket within reach of the 1yr old children in that room. There is no security and anyone can walk in the door and through out the building.

I stopped by to check this place out and couldn't leave fast enough. Looked dirty to me compared to the other centers I visited. 2 kids were crying on the swings and were ignored by the teachers. Anyone could walk in the door and through out the center unaccompanied.
