      Great Plains Regional Medical Center, founded in 1975, is a nonprofit, community-owned hospital that provides a full range of services. The center offers inpatient and outpatient services that include home support services, outreach programs, cancer treatment, cardiopulmonary treatment, diagnostic imaging, emergency, laboratory, pharmacy and follow-up care for patients. Great Plains Regional Medical Center serves more than 150,000 patients in 17 counties in west central Nebraska. The hospital is accredited by health organizations such as the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the College of American Pathologists, American College of Radiology and the Federal Drug Administration.
