I want to give my thanks to the owner and the people of the Red Wing Shoe store in N. Olmsted Ohio. I was trying to find a pair of boots that had been discontinued for almost two years. The Co-Owner and Asst. Manager placed many phone calls to others stores nationwide, searched the internet and contacted there corporate office in Minnesota to try and help me find what I was looking for. They found me a pair (the last pair as far as I can tell) in Arizona and had them shipped to the store a week later! Thank you for putting so much effort into finding me my boots, I love them. It is so hard to find a company (or people) that care as much as they do.

The worst shoes I ever purchased and can't get my money backI purchased a pair of Worx steel toe shoes on February 8th 2010. I wore the shoes 4 days to work. By Friday February 12th the soles of both shoes were falling apart. Pieces were falling off. There was a large hole in the heal of one shoe and the toe area of the other shoe was disintegrating. I took the shoes back on Saturday February 13th and was told I could not get my money back because they were purchased on clearance. This was a strict policy of the owner. They gave me a gift card for the amount. I can understand this policy if I didnt like the shoes but not for a defect like this. I have never seen a pair of shoes come apart like this. I would never buy another pair of Worx shoes and after I use the gift card I will never buy another pair of Red Wings especially at the North Olmsted store.
