Pan Western Corporation was founded in 1970 as a regional flatbed carrier with emphasis on services to the Los Angeles basin. From humble beginnings, Richard Truman, founder and current CEO, has maintained the goal of providing high levels of service and quality within the transportation industry while offering a rewarding environment for his employees. Over the past 32 years, customer demand has resulted in Pan Western s growth from a small fleet carrier to a multi-divisional corporation serving the 48 states, Canada and Mexico. Pan Western operates five divisions and three associated companies. Its 23-acre facility includes a Union Pacific mainline-switched rail track, a state of the art maintenance facility, for lease office space and room for a variety of operational configurations ranging from customer operated to full service third party logistics.
