I bought my 2009 Cadillac CTS-4 back in June 2015 From R.E Davis in north Hampton. I payed just about $14,000 for this car which had 104k on it at the time. I drove this car for 3 days and then the engine light came on and the code was for the timing chain. The one day my engine light turned off was the day I brought it to the dealer to complain about the engine light. The men at the dealership told me since the engine light wasn't on at the time they wouldn't do anything for me. Then the men started telling me that the engine light came on because I had put 91 grade gas in my car instead of the 93 it calls for. The men then told me they would split the price of a warranty with me but they couldn't assure me that the timing chain was covered under this warranty. At this point I knew these guys were shady and I didn't want to give them anymore money so I left without purchasing the warranty. Now 6 months later the engine light is still on and my car is going to need $2300 to pass inspection. I truest believe in my heart that these men cleared the code and sold me the car. I find it a bit suspicious that I had the car for less than a week when the engine light turned on. All in all this dealership is the shadiness dealership I've ever dealt with! They took full advantage of the fact that I'm a young girl who doesn't know a whole lot about cars.
