I highly recommend Preferred Movers. They not only had the most competitively priced estimate but the final bill came in even lower. The staff is professional, efficient and very responsive. The moving truck we had was brand new. We secured the quote online and by phone. Another mover did a visual inspection and quoted a significantly higher cost using five movers, two trucks and taking two days to move. Preferred did the move with three men, one truck and took under 10 hours. Everything was delivered safely.

I was referred to this company by my coworker. I wanted to write about my experience because I feel they deserve recognition. We moved last week to the next town over. We contacted Preferred Movers to come out and provide us with an in-home estimate. Dan came in and gave us a very reasonable quote. He was very Professional and even gave me tips on how save money on our move. They contacted us the day prior to let us know that they would be there between 8-9. The movers gave us a 10 minute call ahead as promised. They were very professional, hardworking and so carful with our belongings. They worked together and made this move look really easy. The movers were very enthusiastic about their job.. The move could not have been better. I would recommend this company to my family and friends. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

I have had to move multiple times into and out of storage and between houses over the past year, and have used three different companies, so I have a pretty good basis for my review. Preferred Movers was the best in all respects. They responded quickly to my inquiry, were on time and professional at my appointment for an estimate, gave me a reasonable quote and followed up promptly. On the day of the move, they were on time, careful with my things, friendly and extremely hardworking. The bill actually was slightly less than the estimate. In comparison to my other moves where there was considerable damage, they took great care to keep my things from getting broken or damaged. Everything about this company was first class. I will be using them again and highly recommend them.

I Used Preferred Movers for small move between Concord NH and Plymouth NH. The service was excellent! They arrived when they said and the bill was actually a little lower than I was quoted. Would highly recommend!

I recently hired Preferred Movers to move from Salem NH to Derry NH and was very happy with the experience. I had never hired movers previously mainly because I was nervous about someone else handling my possessions and because I feared it would be too expensive. I searched for movers online and came across Preferred Movers. They very quickly provided me with a competitive quote and I did my homework on their company. The quote indicated that this was a 6-hour move, and indeed, they completed the entire move in the allotted time. The two guys that did the move were right on time and highly courteous, professional and friendly. They moved with a sense of urgency and quickly put to rest my fears of going over the budgeted time. The movers were very careful with my stuff, and every single item arrived at my new place with zero damage. When I am ready to move again, I will certainly hire Preferred Movers again!

I moved from MA-NH this past Saturday. I hired Preferred Movers to pack my entire 3 bedroom home and move it to NH. They came early on Saturday to get started. The 3 men were very professional. They were dressed in uniform, groomed and very patient with my wife and I. The men packed all of our belongings and loaded our furniture with so much care I was amazed. When we delivered the guys were so fast and nothing got broken. They made our move less stressful. Bravo Preferred Movers Keep up the great work!!!! I will refer you to all of my friends and family anytime to move. Thanks for making our move great!!!!

We contacted Preferred Movers to come out an give us an onsite estimate. Shortly after we met the salesman we contracted with them to move us. From the very beginning to the end of our move it was perfect. The salesman was very accurate. The crew members were so carful and kind with our stuff. The office staff was so friendly. I could not have asked for a more wonderful moving experience with Pat and his fabulous team! Pat had moved a Piano for me 3 times as I moved from home to home on the Seacoast over the past 10 years, so when I found out I was moving to FL for a new job, he was the first one I called. I had a really complex situation moving to FL and Pat worked with me every step of the way and made a difficult transition so much easier because of his professionalism and attitude. Such a pleasure. Horrible experience! Delays, they ruined our furniture and underestimated by $2000. The truck died and they charged us extra because they couldn't back it down the drive.

They sent a fill in driver and the contracted labor unloading was great, but they were not affiliated with this company. They offered a settlement of $500 after ruining a $3500 leather couch and many other things. Would not recommend.

This family has used the services of Preferred Movers 4 times in the last several months. Three times local, once into the city of Boston. On all occassions we have not been less than completely pleased. We have happily been able to schedule quickly and our moves have been completed within all time estimates. Our movers have been on time, quick, professional, courteous and completely respectful of our homes and property. We will absolutely rely on Preferred Movers in the future and reccommend them to anyone who asks!

I have used this company at least 4 times within a 5 month time span. Each and every time it has been nothing short of perfection.
They have been fast while at the same time making sure everything is packed correctly and safe.
When unpacking they always took the time to place everything just where I wanted it and took the time to assemble everything.
No task or weight was too much for these guys to handle.
They were professional to the end and never made me pay a price higher than what was quoted.
These are the only movers I will ever use and would recommended them to any friends and family.

Worst movers ever..

I have moved 5 times during last 4 years cos of my work and this time I came across the worst ever movers.

I set up the move weeks in advance with them and they confirmed they will be at my place early in the morning (By 8AM) and then deliver it to my new place my 12 noon next day and also got the confirmation call from them day before the move.

But moving party came to my place at 1PM, 5 hours late and one man short for packing. And they delivered at 7pm next day… 7 hours late, with missing and broken furniture.

I had to spend 2 extra nights at a hotel with 1 year old infant cos of their late delivery. Two month later I’m still waiting for the missing furniture which never arrived. Driver said they have mistakenly placed them with previous delivery and gone missing WTF?

They have lost the nuts and bolts for my infants crib so they could not reassemble it and I had to buy a new one.

They charged for the insurance I send them the paper work for missing & Brocken stuff but still no answer from them.

Or keep in mind there final cost will be $500 more than the quote….that’s right $500 extra.

These guys are the most unprofessional and worst movers in NH..DONT TRUST them and STAY AWAY from them.
