Thompson Middle School serves students in grades five through eight and is a part of Thompson Public Schools. Its general academic curriculum includes subjects, such as math, science, social studies and language arts. The school also conducts classes in art, music and physical education. Thompson Middle School operates a parent-teacher organization that encourages parental involvement in children s education and sponsors various fundraising events and activities. It provides special education for students with special needs. Thompson Middle School offers transportation, medical care and guidance counseling services. It features a media center that maintains a collection of educational software, reference materials, and fiction and nonfiction books.
