- Surgery CCVS offers a variety of surgical services including but not limited to abdominal, thoracic, plastic and reconstructive, oncologic, neurosurgical and orthopedic. Frequently performed procedures include Triple Pelvic osteotomies (TPO), Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomies (TPLO), CCL reconstruction, Cervical, Thoracolumbar and Lumbosacral Spinal Decompression, Cancer Surgery, gastrointestinal surgery and thoracic surgery. Imaging Imaging services are non-invasive diagnostic tools used to aid in proper diagnosis and treatment of internal issues affecting patients. Among these services are: all types of radiography, including Myelography of the spine, PennHip and OFA of the skeletal system and CAT scan. CCVS has upgraded the imaging services with the addition of a GE High-speed helical CT scanner. This has allowed faster and more detailed imaging of the brain, chest, abdomen, spine and joints. Rehabilitation Coastal Carolina Veterinary Specialists' rehabilitation department provides rehabilitative services and treatment for post-operative patients, animals with dysfunction, injury, pain or physical abnormalities. Treatment techniques include modalities (ice, heat, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound), joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, massage, therapeutic exercise, aquatic therapy, acupressure, and much more. Canine rehabilitation can make a difference in the lives of all dogs.
