Sonoco Phoenix is a part of Sunoco, which is one of the leading manufacturers and marketers of petroleum and petrochemical products throughout United States. Sunoco has a daily oil refining capacity of more than 900,000 barrels and operates over 4,700 retail sites selling gasoline and convenience items. The company has nearly and 35 product terminals and maintains approximately 5,500 miles of pipelines. Its petrochemical products and chemical intermediates are used in the fiber, plastic, film and resin industries. Additionally, Sunoco manages several coke making facilities that provides more than 3 million tons of metallurgical-grade coke for the steel industry annually.
