Leonard Insurance Services is a full service agency writing commercial lines, personal lines, employee benefits, life insurance and financial planning all under one roof. With close to 10,000 customers, the firm writes business all across the country while the greater percentage of its business remains in Ohio. While the name Leonard Insurance Services came from a 1984 merger of two of the largest insurance agencies in Stark County, the history behind the company goes back to the early part of the 20th century. Insurance Services, Inc., with roots back to 1923, and The Leonard Agency Company, founded in 1904, merged to create one of the largest independent agencies in Ohio.
