The city of North Canton also operates various other departments, including North Canton civic center, street department, engineering, permits and inspection, parks and recreation, water distribution, and finance and income tax. It also governs police, water treatment plant, fire and sewer departments. The city s services include curbside leaf recycling program, garbage and rubbish removal, power outages, natural gas aggregation, sewer maintenance program and emergency medical services.
