I never want to use another moving company again because of the terrible experiences that I have had with this company for this move

1. I was giving an estimate but it was not explained that it was only a estimate and it was over the phone so not only was it inaccurate the price more then doubled at the time of pick up.

2. They do not take credit cards, or checks which makes no sense at all.

3. I was told it is a family owned company that has their own trucks. It was picked up at my house by a UHAUL and delivered by yet ANOTHER COMPANY.

4. The ones delivering it were is such a rush to be done with their day because I was the last delivery for that run of deliveries that I could not inspect anything as it came off the truck. Because A. They had me sign all paper work before the truck had even been opened, B. The packing list was sealed in an envelop that they held onto until the end.

5. The items that were disassembled at the pickup and that I was told they would reassemble at delivery were not reassembled the movers were focused on grabbing the packing blankets and leaving.

6. There were two items that I needed to know I could carry up and down the stairs on my unit for work purposes and as I was carrying them up I got snide comments of "am I going to have to share my tip with you?" (Professionals should never express the downright expectation of a tip, that's not professional at all)

7. As the one that was holding all the paperwork was exiting I was again asked about a tip, which I did have and I had enough that could be evenly split between the three, but when I handed it to him I got another snide comment " I guess it's better then nothing"

8. Four of my boxes were not delivered to me.

9. The guy on the truck that directly delivered to me who held all the paperwork could not be reached for two days after delivery. During which time I left messages about the missing boxes. When I finally got a hold of him he was rude and questioning my statements because of the difference in total boxes missing In the voicemail and the call he finally picked up on. A. If you have gotten the voicemail and can repeat it back to me verbatim why did you not return my call?? B. The change in number is directly related to the fact that I received a box that ended up having four tags on it.

10. After getting rude with me to start with, as I am explaining I know exactly which boxes and they are this, this, and this he cuts me off and hangs up on me.

11. Even the office can not get this guy on the phone.

12. It has been a week and a half and the office has no idea where my things are.



Next time I move, which will actually consist of furniture (since I didn't move a single item of furniture this time, it was my clothing and books and work equipment) I will rent a uhaul before I let any company touch my things. I will hire my neighbors and family to pack up, load and unload my things. This experience has been horrible and broke my bank account

A total scam and rip-off. Beware! They trick you in with low estimate and then charge you double the price and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it

Moving is frustrating and annoying. it takes for ever to pack move and unpack. Amerisouth was a great help and made moving alot easier for me and my children. everything was done according to schedule and handled with care. i really recommend this small moving but great company to anyone out there that wants to get things done in a organized and fast way. thank you for helping me get over this whole moving thing quickly and safely.

This company is not being recognized enough for their hard work and efforts. these movers are extremely dedicated to packing and wrapping your things in such a neat and professional way.Very affordable and they delivered my things to the door as they found them when they moved them. very pleased with their services. i recommend for future refrence.

I Thought that moving to P.A would be a drag. My experience with amerisouth was great. They did more then the expected and I am grateful that they helped in such a great way. I got a way better deal than the other companies were offering. The office was very helpful with keeping me up to date with my move. Also, I have never seen such hard workers! They were very diligent with my stuff and I know this because I watched them the whole time. Everything was fully protected and taken care of. I am very pleased with the service rendered.

Huge companies and corporations always try to rip you off, but working with a smaller business, namely Amerisouth, I was guaranteed a certain rate and it stayed that way and if there was anything extra added, it was clearly said to me and in the contract, so they were an honest company to work with and they did a fantastic job!
