      I felt that Dr. Sherman lacked the empathy and validation to be truly helpful and healing. I found myself defending what I would say to her. I told her on multiple occasions that I felt she needed to be more empathetic but it was not heeded. I ended up feeling worse than before. I would not recommend her.
