My daughter has been attending the daycare since she was 2 years old. She had a hard adjusting at first. The teachers were approachable and receptive to my concerns, and accommodated us to the best of their ability. The class sizes are small which provided her the opportunity to receive the attention she needed. Overtime she become more comfortable and began learning numbers, letters (including sign language), and social skills. I tried to get her in the town's school system but because of her birthday she did not make the "cutoff" to enroll. The YMCA has been a great way to keep up with her future classmates.

Thank You Meadowlands Area YMCA for offering classes that help me to take care of myself. I have used the pool and have found wonderful companionship there! I also take some exercise classes and the instructors are wonderful. Myself and my family are so happy to have a YMCA so close to home.

My Son enjoyed the daycare for some time and than got bored of it. My main concern was, he came back home with a bad word and he was only 2 years old. After complaing, they said the one kid that says that is going to leave the place in a weeks time. I am not sure if that was true or not. Also some teachers are not very friendly. They probably take good care of kids but they are not approchable to discuss concerns. Everything has to be discussed with the director of day care. Overall, it was a good start for my son but I would not want to send him back.

My experience at the Rutherford High School YMCA Aquatic swimming lesson on 9/12/09. The pool water temperature was very cold. I complained to the Director of Aquatic Dept. Mr. Salamanca, and I was basically called a liar, because he tested the water earlier that morning and it was 82 degrees. I was told that their policy states that money is non refunded. I paid $125.00.
