I have a shampoo and style at this shop and neglected to ask the price before they did the service. I had gone to Smart Style in Joplin, MO, and Grove OK several times plus others when traveling. The shampoo and style had always been reasonable, less than $15. . My hair is not long. In the back it is approximately to the top of my collar. I have a new permanent and wanted it shampooed and difused but they were going to sit me under the dryer and that doesn't work for the style I want, so I had them dry and use the curling iron to style. The style looked like something from the 70's when I left. I wet it and redid it when I got home. When I went up to pay, the cost was $26.95. I couldn't believe it. I questioned and she said it was $18.95 for the shampoo and style, $5.00 for medium length hair and $3 because I asked for a hydrating conditioner. That will be my last trip to that salon.
