I have been a customer of Washburn Flowers for a number of years. I have found that I get consistently excellent, personal service from the florists - both when I call and when I stop by. Even when I've called for last minute service, they have been friendly and courteous, and the flowers are always excellent quality. Their prices are also quite reasonable, and I always feel that I've received good value for the money.

As an example, I needed a wrist corsage for my teenage son to give to his date today. I called early afternoon, and they were able to make a very nice looking corsage and have it available before they closed so that I could pick it up. The presentation was excellent, and they didn't charge extra for last minute service.

I asked very specifically for fresh, tight, pink roses to be sent to our daughter at ISU for her birthday. She got fully opened pink roses. The first time I called, they said they would replace them. They didn't replace them and I called again. I was then told that they were open because they were better quality roses—and that they were delivered on a hot day. I didn't care. I wasn't happy because they did not deliver what I asked for. At least they got the color right.
