General Info
Dr. Joseph K. Newcomer, of Premier Orthopedics, practices general orthopedics, performs hand and upper extremity surgery, cartilage restoration surgery, joint reconstruction, and arthroscopy medicine.Dr. Newcomer received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana College in 1989. He received his medical degree in 1993 from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery in Albuquerque at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in 1998. Dr. Newcomer is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He maintains an active practice in general orthopedics, sports medicine, trauma surgery, and pediatric orthopedics. Dr. Newcomer is a team physician for Millikin University and is an adjunct faculty member at Illinois State University.
