PART (1/2) This place has been pretty good in the past. My latest experience here was not that good. The guy at the register was not particularly welcoming. After paying for my oven-baked sub, I sat and waited. And waited. Why did I wait so long? The other guy that works here used to make my subs quick. And there is only one other customer in the store. So after waiting for an extended period of time, half the sub is ready. Somehow, the man working there forgot that I paid for a whole sub. So I waited some more. Some guy watching ESPN on the tv now tried starting to talk to me about football (I don't watch football!). Eventually, my other sub half is ready. Meanwhile the first half is lukewarm. I decide to savor what I can and eat the hotter one first. Hmm... They're both lukewarm. I wonder how that happened if he just made the second half? This experience has left such a deep and lasting (maybe permanent) impact on me that I am forced to vent out on this page.
