LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel. The room was so clean and cute. There was enough room to put all of my things. The owners were super nice and spoiled us. Anything we needed, they got and our room was so clean when we got home from work. There in an enclosed yard that has a grill and table and chairs to sit outside. It was quiet and felt like home. I would have paid more for this room so the price they are asking is a steal. The beach is across the street and never had TOO many people. everything is within walking distance. The farm fresh, ABC store, and fast food restuarants...even sit down ones. I am in transit looking for a place to rent but this hotel felt like home. This is the only hotel ill ever come to now. I would suggest this to anyone needing a room.
I stay at the Bay Inn a couple times a month. The rooms are always very clean, and the rate per night is very good. Its a small motel, and the staff lives on site, and they will go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Small semi-private beach just a couple minute walk from the Bay Inn. There is a small shopping center a short walk from the motel. The beach is on the southern shore oh the Chesapeake Bay. So if you come to Norfolk Va. the Bay Inn is a nice, clean, a place where you feel welcomed. D. Johnson

I come here when ever I am in town its a great place. They are friendly, a/c works great, the owners are always there making sure guest are happy and will go out of the way to make sure of it. Rooms are always clean and fresh.

Like the other review, we chose the Bay Inn because of the poor reviews of other places. We had an enjoyable stay. The room was small but clean, and it was very quiet. The air conditioning worked well. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had a comfortable stay, and provided a coffee pot for our room too. The rates were very reasonable. The beach is across the street, and the locals seem very friendly. I would stay at the Bay Inn again.

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend because of all the poor reviews from other motels. The Bay Inn is an old facility. If you enjoy nastalga, you will enjoy staying here. I was taken back to the 50s. The owners live on site and went out of their way to insure our stay was as comfortable as possible.The room was really clean. The AC worked beautifully.It's quiet and safe here. The only thing missing for me was a coffee pot.
