Norview High School, located in Norfolk, Va., is a part of the Norfolk City Public Schools. It offers a college preparatory curriculum to more than 1,750 students in grades nine through 12. Its courses include English, social studies, mathematics, science, physical education, health education, humanities and computer science. It offers an academic program that includes technical school preparation, honors, college preparation, advanced placement and International Baccalaureate. Electives on campus and at its applied technology center allow students to explore a wide range of personal interests and career-related goals. Norview High School encourages students to participate in its extracurricular opportunities in athletics, music, art, honor societies, clubs and service organizations, and offers various sports, including basketball, football and volleyball.
