Founded in 1948, Norfolk Collegiate School provides a range of educational services to students in kindergarten through grade 12. It offers several academic courses, including communication arts, English, mathematics, foreign languages, science and social studies. The school s campus includes several classrooms, science laboratories, a cafeteria, gymnasium, athletic, computer and fine art centers and media center. Norfolk Collegiate School is a member of Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools, which organizes athletic competitions for its member schools. It provides a variety of athletic activities, including basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball and swimming. It is approved by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school is located in Norfolk, Va.
