First Baptist Church of Norfolk has been offering spiritual and emotional guidance and Christian teaching in Norfolk, Va. The church s vision is to become a strategic training center for the gospel of Jesus Christ by making disciples committed to God, family and church who care for people in and beyond their community. It has ministries for children, youth, young adults, worship, small groups and global impact. Its Vacation Bible School is a fun-filled intense week of learning about God's word, missions around the world and service to others. Its summer camp offers recreational activities, such as canoeing, ropes courses, volleyball, swimming and water blogging. Its worship choir ministers organize various worship concerts and special presentations. Its Saturday's at First ministry offers Bible study and worship in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.
