Bel Air School is a learning center that is governed by Norfolk Public Schools. Located in Norfolk, Nev., the school serves more than 250 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school operates departments, including language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. It conducts sessions in drug and alcohol awareness and health and technology education. The school also offers a range of academic programs, such as speech therapy, reading recovery and special education. Its staff includes paraprofessionals, nurses, custodians and guidance counselors. The school provides cocurricular activities, such as orchestra, band, physical education, art, and vocal and instrumental music. In addition, Bel Air School conducts field trips to various places, including post offices, weather bureaus, airports, and fire and police stations.
