when I had a serious electrical emergency on a Sunday--smell of wires burning in the breaker box- I turned off all the breakers and started to call electricians- most just had messages- a few messages said leave a number and they'd call back--then I saw Hickerson's ad on the net- It said their phones were answered live 24/7! I called, explained the situation, and Allen, the owner, called me back immediately and discussed the situation. He educated me about problems with the circuit breaker box I have, dating to 1973--These have caused countless fires across the country, but were never recalled- He rearranged his schedule for the next day, Monday, to spend the whole day working at my house- and strongly advised me to cut off all the power until he could get there- He also gave me his pager number and told me to call if I had any problems whatsoever meanwhile. Not one other electrical company has returned my calls- If it weren't for Allen Hickerson, I'd still be waiting.
