The person who wrote the review above must have taken her child to a different dance studio. Both of my children have danced with Mindy since they were 2 years old and are now 11 & 8 and love it! Kinder classes are obviously more challenging than older children because of the attention span of the age group and therefore requires "helpers". Mindy has always been on the floor dancing with the students, no matter what the age group. Mindy also has a strict cell phone policy inside the studio. Neither she nor her helpers are on their phones during class. Mindy makes dance affordable and enjoyable no matter what the age or size of family. I have also been witness to students with disabilities at the studio. Unlike other studios in the area, Mindy will find a way to involve all children, disability or not. This is the best place anyone could ever take their children hands down. It is a second home to most of us in her dance family.

My children have been at this studio for 10 years and I have nothing negative to say at all. Not only have they been taught many different types of dance, they have an impressive role model to follow. My oldest daughter is pursuing a career in dance because of the influence of this studio, and even my boys danced for a time. I have never seen an instructor of any kind who is as invested in each child as Mrs. Mindy. I would and have recommended this studio to lots of people and have never had any one who regretted attending.

My daughter has been dancing at this school for 8 years. She has grown so much as a dancer and young lady under her teacher's instruction. She has always been placed based on her ability and has excelled. The older girls who have helped in her classes have become her mentors and are young ladies she can look up to. Dancing is a family affair for us and we love that we get to participate.

I had heard that this school was good to go to so I signed up my 3.5 year old. I have to be honest and say that it hasn't been worth the time or money. The school does not work well with younger children. They have lots of down time in the class and do not seem to have smooth transitions. While this school may do great teaching older children, I would not recommend bringing your toddler to this dance studio. One thing that I have found extremely disappointing is that the teacher rarely dances with the students. I often see the teacher talking on the phone or talking to one of the helpers in the classroom. While I understand needing to communicate with your volunteers, I have been extremely disappointed that the children don't get direct instruction from the professional. I didn't know high school students would be doing the majority of the teaching. In the last six months, the professional ballet instructor has never once put on her ballet shoes. It's been very disappointing.
