State Bank of Niantic, with assets of more than $45 million, provides financial products and services to customers in the greater Niantic, Ill., area. It offers customers a variety of products and services, including checking accounts, savings accounts, CDs, savings bonds, IRAs, escrow accounts, notary services, loans, trust services, safe deposit boxes and telephone banking. The bank was founded in 1890 and has been FDIC insured since 1934. It is a subsidiary of Scott Bancshares, a multi-bank holding company, which also owns Scott State Bank and Maroa Forsyth Community Bank. Scott Bancshares is located in Bethany, Ill., and has assets of more than $120 million.
