2nd time customer. Friend needed a mover on short notice this year. Moving Man came to mind. Still the same professinal service I received in 1993. What a wonderful experience! Very professional, polite Very helpful. When it was time to move fridge Pete called with a heads up to start unloading it he would be there soon after the first load. Had a beautiful wood headboard with pier cabinets they wrapped it to protect it. Time management A++. Would recomend them again, You will not be disappointed, I wasn't

I called and left voicemail, I needed a dining set moved from a location less then 10 minutes away from me. Then my old set moved right across the street. My previous movers were not available for a while. The owner did call me back, that night at 11:00 p.m. That was a little late for my taste, but at least he called-he explained that it was busy season-and he would try to slip me in if I could be flexible that week, to the tune of $90/hour. That was higher then any prior mover I have used, but I didn't want to make the seller wait too long. Next few days, he would call-telling me he may be able to, then things would come up and he couldn't. Once he called to say they could be there in a half hour, and he told me he said "$95-and not $90." I called the seller, she piled her kids in her car to drive to the house-and he called back to say nevermind, something came up and he couldn't do it that day. I was flexible, I could appreciate it was busy season and he was fitting me in-but I also felt like I couldn't be on "stand by" much longer. That night my phone rang and woke me at 1:00 a.m.-it was the owner saying he may be able to do it the next day, later in afternoon. I take care of two family members with health issues-when the phone rings that late there's only "bad thoughts" that run through my head...couldn't sleep after that. I would of told him to forget it, but I felt with all the "false alarms" the seller was growing frustrated too, so I gave him one more day. He called, I explained again the directions-he said, about 2-3 hours? I said "it should hardly take that long?" I feel he already made his mind up that he was going to get no less then two hours out of me. He showed up at the sellers house, at 3:04-while the two movers loaded the truck, the owner used her bathroom for 10 minutes? Once here, he came in-although the dining set was a straight move in the front door, and his movers agreed-the owner argued with them, that they needed to go around the side garage, threw my back patio, and pass my den. I would of had to move a car, patio set, and a table that was holding my complete contents of my old hutch? There was no need for that, I have had much larger pieces fit perfectly in the front door. I felt his way was longer-and more money for him. Luckily, his movers did not agree with him-brought it in the front door. They also delivered my old hutch across the street. It was just about 4:06-he said he guys would stay to assemble everything (he got his two hours...) I would of rather they left it, my husband could of put it all together to save another $95.00 They were gone by 4:15. I did tip the movers what little left I had on me-it would of been more had I not been charged so much, I had little left! I felt bad for them, they did all the bull work-knew what they were doing, and had a boss popping in and out to criticize them, talk down to them in front of me, and offer a ridiculous path into my dining room? Not very professional, the only thing the owner seemed to do well was to collect his money and leave first! I would of given a "zero star" rating-but the scale wouldn't go that low.

Pete is a great person with a very caring heart.I was in a very tough situation he not only was able to move my belongings on very short notice but also offers storage as well.He was very understanding and his crew came right in got right to work. Not only were they fast and courteous. They were very mindful of my things even the things I told them I didn't care much about.I would highly recommend Pete the moving man and will definitely use his services again.

The only thing good about this company was 1 out of the 3 workers. A 1 bedroom apt. took 6.5 hrs to move and cost me 725.00.They moved my things from the house to the front lawn to the truck.Three steps, the front lawn "really". This was an extra 1.5 hrs of money. When I started unloading boxes at the house, there were spiders and ants, from the yawn I imagine. A piece of furniture would not fit in my new house so he it in the hall. I had to pay another person to come, take off the door and it fit in. I asked him to take off the door but he was going to charge me for more time. And by the way he was 2 hrs late from the time he was suppose to be there. And also wanted a "tip" for the guys. He suggested $35.00 a piece. No personality, pushy, and only discussed money!!! Do not recommend at all.
