We demand excellence from our highly trained, certified employees who are focused on providing patients with the best pre-hospital and post-hospital medical care available. We conduct all aspects of the business with honesty and integrity and strive to make our interactions with patients, family members, medical personnel, and business partners a positive experience for all. Emergency and Non-Emergency Transportation Services For Emergencies Call 911: Your Call Goes Directly To the Radio Room of Bucks County Emergency Health Services The county dispatcher alerts the appropriate emergency ambulance service(s) according to the location of the incident and the availability of response units Newtown Ambulance Squad's primary emergency response area includes all of Newtown Township and Newtown Borough, as well as portions of Northampton, Lower Makefield, and Upper Makefield Townships. We offer annual membership subscriptions to the residents of these areas. Residents may also see Newtown Ambulance Squad vehicles and crews providing standby coverage at special events such as football games, parades, fairs, and holiday celebrations. All paramedics and emergency medical technicians are fully licensed and certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Employees and volunteers receive ongoing training to ensure that they are using the best practices and technologies for treating patients. According to Joe Swerk, President, "We conduct thorough background checks on every employee including criminal history, references, and driving records for vehicle operators. We are also a member of Drug Free PA and each employee is committed to a drug free workplace. Our policy requires crews to be dressed in full uniform. We're proud of our professionalism and the courteous, compassionate care provided by our employees."
