Originally incorporated to provide both insurance and real estate services to the area, the agency began supplying insurance products exclusively in the 1970s. The agency provides outstanding property and casualty, life and health products for personal needs as well as products for commercial clients. As an independent agent representing a number of insurance companies, Catawba Realty and Insurance Co, Inc.can fulfill almost every personal and commercial insurance need.One of the original founders of Catawba Realty and Insurance Co., Inc, Charles R. "Bob" Powell, remains active in the agency. He is joined by a staff of nine insurance professionals who possess over 250 years of combined insurance experience. The current staff is comprised of Diane S. Loftin, Lester M. Killian, Jr., Terry A. Misenheimer, William D. Powell, Sheila W. Stewart, Elizabeth Adams, Vicky W. Danner, Jamie H. Deal, and Sharon Wimberly.The goal of Catawba Realty and Insurance Co, Inc.is to provide top quality service and products that represent a good value in filling our client's insurance needs. We will be mindful of price, but we recognize a distinct difference between price and the potential cost of insurance products.
