For the past 80 years, Gustave White has handled the marketing of quality Newport County properties from 'Sandy Point', the estate of Reginald Vanderbilt, to 'Hammersmith Farm', the home of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and 'Fairholme', the estate of Anita O'Keefe Young. Since 2000, the company has been owned by Christina K. West and Paul A. Leys and continues to offer buyers and sellers the hallmarks of exceptional service and professionalism. While specializing in the high-end market, the goal of Gustave White is to represent properties of all kinds and in all price ranges with integrity and confidence. Gustave White's Newport office employs a team of 20 experienced full-time sales professionals servicing all of Newport County, from large estates to more moderately priced single and multi-family houses and condominiums. The expertise of the agents also extends to the commercial market, residential land sales, and rentals. Gustave J.S. White became Sotheby's International Realty's first affiliate in 1982. Gustave White has very professional agents who know how to make you feel at ease instead of pressured. The owners support many local charities and encourage their agents to be involved and engaged with local causes. To the surprise of many, they provide the same quality service to clients whether the property costs $200k or $20M. Very nice and knowledgeable people.
