The worst customer service ever, waited over 2 hours for food, only for the waiter to come back and say he forgot to put in our order. Terrible experience

I went to "The Train Station" on Feb.12th to hear a jazz band and to have dinner, with a couple of friends. I must admit I, had a really nice time. I had heard that the place fulls up really quick, which was true, we got there around 6:50 and buy 7:15, the main dining room was full. The overflow had to go in the other room.. Our orders were taken after being seated for about 5 minutes, our food was served hot, and we had a good time,the entertainment was great, and the manager or someone from her staff, came by the table a couple of times, to see if we were all right. So my experience at the The Train Station was a good one,which I would gladly go again, when time permits.

I do NOT recommend this restaurant. I made a reservation for 8:00 for a Friday night jazz show. When I arrived at 7:45 they told me I was late and that my table had been given away. I told them I was not late but in fact 15 minutes early and then they said Oh, no one wrote down the time. I explained I was sure someone did because I had to spell my name for her. Then they changed the story to say I had to be wrong because they don't make reservations atfer 7:00. I spoke to the manager and the owner Robin. They insulted my intelligence trying to tell me that no one there had confirmed my reservations and in essence calling me a liar. They made NO effort to right the wrong. The manager was very nonchalant about the whole thing. I told them how far I had driven and that I called because their flyer suggested calling to make reservations. But they still insisted I was wrong and no one there had made that reservation. I am completely disappointed and I will NEVER attempt to attend a show they sponsor again. The food is not even that good and the drinks are weak and overpriced. The place is small, crowded and hot, not to mention SLOW service! I was trying to patronize a local business instead of going across the water but this is the thanks I got. I doubt they even read these reviews but if anyone who knows them reads this one please be sure to point it out to them. They should remember me well.

I have been to the train station on several occassions. Everytime I have been there, the food was awfull and the service was extrememley poor.

The food was extremely greasy and substandard. The wait staff including owners and are Ghetto!

On one accassion I asked a waitess about how long would my order take before it was served. I had already waited 45 minutes prior to speaking with her and her reply was " How long are you willing to wait?"

I spoke to the owner and her reply was simply..." We don't charge a cover, so everyone should be more patient."

The entertainment is great. There are very few places on the Penninsula where you can hear live jazz, so there really aren't many options to choose from. I strongly suggest you dine elsewhere before heading over.
