Mennowood Retirement Community, located in Ocala, Fla., provides assisted living for the elderly citizens. It provides in-home assistance and care services to the elderly and their families. The home provides residents a wide range of services and, including meals, medication management and distribution, utilities, housekeeping, laundry, and changing linens. It also provides 24-hour emergency response system, licensed nurses to monitor and coordinate care, transportation, and escort to functions and appointments, theater and movie events. Mennowood Retirement Community has various clubs and organizations, such as book club, bible study group and various support groups. The home also provides various activities and events, including exercise classes, concerts, movie, outings and outdoor events. Mennowood Retirement Community s Comfort Cove Care provides services to residents with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

I moved into Mennowood two months ago.Staff and residents are really great, everyone is so caring and helpful. I already feel that I belong here in Newport News at Mennowood.

When I entered Mennowood last night I was greeted by the sound of music and the resident were dancing! My mom was having a great time. Great job Mennowood.
