Provided by YP.comMy Family had visited from Utah and wanted to get out to sea and watch some whales. i found this company for $16 each person was a great deal for about 2 maybe three hours. The drinks were super cheap, and it was very enjoyable! The announcer was very knowledgable, and was so professional and actually had fun along with us. It is a MUST Do while your here. Only complaint I had was PARKING there was no spots.

Provided by YP.comWell, we did see whales--gray whales to be exact. :) Our tour spent about an hour, or a little more, viewing at least 3 gray whales (maybe there were 5) coming up for air and flapping their flukes--no fluke! (I couldn't resist!) Several times we were able to view their barnacle-encrusted backs as they swam along the surface. This was so amazing, especially for my friend who for the first time got to see whales in real life! We had such a wonderful experience!

Provided by YP.comThe trip lasted for 2.5 hours. We were never bored on board. Ha! The ride was relatively smooth, not overly crowded (it was mid-morning on a Friday), and the captain of the boat was quite knowledgeable.

Provided by YP.comMy friends and I had a lot of fun yesterday on our half day trip. It was gloomy and a bit cold, but it was way more fun than I had originally expected. Anyway, we caught a ton of sculpin and sand dabs, as well as a lizard fish that we released back into the water because who wants to eat a lizard fish anyhow? We also saw a blue whale (well we couldn't tell what kind of whale but I'm going to say it was a blue whale ok?) a ton of dolphin and a surprising amount of sea lions. It was pretty awesome.

Provided by YP.comI surprised my spouse and took her out whale watching and we had an amazing time with the Newport Whale Watching Crew. Our captain and tour guide, Dustin, and his crew were not only very accommodating, but very knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the tour. We went on the 10am tour and immediately saw a few whales at the beginning of the tour as well as dolphins and sea lions. Definitely a worthwhile excursion. We'll be back to do it again.

Provided by YP.comWe boarded the "Agressor" boat, which is a no-frills cruising boat. After coasting out of the Newport/Balboa Harbor, it took a little time to see any sea life. Unfortunately, we weren't able to see any whales... bummer. But we did see a ton of common dolphins and cute, lazy sea lions. In all, it wasn't much, but hubby and I still enjoyed the cruise and beautiful sights. Since there isn't any narration on the boat, you definitely wanna keep your eyes open and/or just listen up for the "oooo's" and "ahhh's" when people see something out in the ocean.

Provided by YP.comThe whales and dolphins put on quite a show for us!! Even the captain commented that he'd never seen so many whales in his 20 yrs! The dophins were jumping and we saw lots of whales of many varieties. It was AWESOME!!

Provided by YP.comThe 2.5 hour whale watching trip was very comfortable. We saw a bunch of Fin whales and 50 or so dolphins. The captain spotted whales way on the horizon and went out and found them for us. The tour lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes. Food and beverages were available for purchase. Check in was easy, right next to the Ferry crossing.

Provided by YP.comThe crew was awesome and looked out for our safety the entire time. They would slow down to give us enough time for pictures and videos.

Provided by YP.comIt was exciting for the little kids and little kids alike to be out on the ocean and to see everything up close. Snack bar on the lower level (beer, wine, burgers, sodas, typical snack bar food). I'd definitely come back on this tour and recommend it to others.

Provided by YP.comI really, really enjoyed this tour. We got lucky enough to 4 whales, which the captain followed back to the harbor. We saw what seemed to be a million dolphins, and sea lions.
