Long Term Care Partners, located in Portsmouth, N.H., is a joint venture between John Hancock Financial Services and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. It administers the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program and employs more than 100 people. Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program of the company offers services to federal employees and annuitants, members and retired members of the uniformed services. It is an employer-sponsored long-term care insurance program and offers coverage on a voluntary basis. It enrolls more than 211,000 individuals. Long Term Care Partners also offers educational programs on the basics of long-term care and insurance plans. Additionally, Long Term Care Partners s account managers offer representation at federal retirement seminars.
