Newington Public School Board of Education offers education to students in grades kindergarten through 12. It operates various high, middle and elementary schools throughout Minnesota. The schools offers a variety of subjects in their curriculum, including reading, writing, consumer science, algebra, English, geography, American history, biology, computers, accounting, chemistry, creative writing, and special and physical education. The sports activities offered by the district include soccer, basketball, football, cheerleading, track, baseball and softball. It also offers various extracurricular activities to students, including band, choir, National Honor Society, fine arts, yearbook, student council and quiz contests.
