General Info
We believe that early intervention, prompt diagnosis, preventative care and patient education are essential in the treatment of your foot & ankle conditions. Dr. Rhodes is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Rhodes is currently an active member of the medical staff at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital and a physician at the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Wound Care Center. He is also on staff at Glendale Adventist Medical Center and USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. Dr. Rhodes attended the University of California at Irvine, where he completed his undergraduate education with two degrees: a bachelor of science in biological sciences and a bachelor of arts in anthropological studies. His medical studies were completed at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, where he became a member of the Pi Delta National Honor Society for academic excellence while attending medical school. Dr. Rhodes completed two years of podiatric surgical residency at the Monrovia Community Hospital Foot and Ankle Institute. During his second year of residency, he served as chief resident and was involved with the coordination of the hospitals' continuing medical education programs, including giving regular lectures and publishing research. At the time of his residency, he was also a member of the Baja Project for Crippled Children, a volunteer organization committed to the diagnosis and treatment of lower extremity disorders for the underprivileged in Tijuana and Mexicali, Mexico. Dr. Rhodes has been practicing since 1996 in his Glendale office and opened his main office in Santa Clarita in 1998, which he moved to Newhall in June of 2012. He and his wife enjoy raising their 4 children in the Santa Clarita Valley and keep busy with sports and school schedules as well as being avid Dodger fans!
