Back to Balance Acupuncture is an alternative medicine clinic in Newhall, Santa Clarita, California. Traditional Chinese medicine, abbreviated as TCM, is the oldest, continually practiced system of medicine in history. Marrying the traditional healing methods of Chinese medicine with modern technological advances, we help patients to understand how the meridian system of the body affects their experience of health. We use the myriad of treatment methods available to TCM practitioners, including acupuncture – both body and auricular (ear), electro-acupuncture, cupping (ba guan 拔罐), scraping (gua sha 刮痧), moxibustion (ai jiu 艾灸), Chinese herbal formulations, and Chinese medical massage (tui na 刮痧). The treatment we provide assists the patient’s body in healing itself and achieving optimal health. We are now able to offer laser acupuncture to patients. Laser acupuncture uses laser light to affect the meridians in a non-invasive, pain-free way. Most patients experience minimal to no sensation from this treatment. Current patients have enjoyed this treatment method, especially on traditionally painful acupoints. We also offer a Pain-free* Acupuncture Facelift. Reduce the signs of aging – fine lines and wrinkles around eyes, mouth, forehead, etc, as well as improve the overall appearance of the face with chemical free, natural methods. Stay tuned for before and after pictures! *The needles used are very thin allowing for a pain-free experience for those patients with typical pain sensitivity. After receiving her MAOM from the Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, CA, our practitioner spent 5 years studying at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in Beijing, China. The rich experience she gained allows her to provide the best possible service to her patients. She even speaks Mandarin Chinese!
