Had lunch there with my husband on Friday and we both ordered a salad. Very disappointing! My salad had canned mushrooms, not fresh sliced mushrooms! When I said something to our waiter he said, "Well I didn't make it"......very rude. Salad dressings were tasteless and watered down. How can you ruin a salad??? We've been here two other times and weren't impressed with the food. The outside deck is very nice though. They really need a new chef and new waitstaff! We won't be back.....

They've been open for just over a year and we've been there several times. Very friendly staff, delicious food, awesome views. We return often for live music, Phillies and Eagles games, etc. There's always something going on. Food takes longer to come out when they're really busy, but it's always worth the wait!

Had dinner here at least 3 times (1: dry salmon, 2: over 2 hours to get orders and dinners in with 14 people, 3: Mother's Day and over 1 1/2 hours to get orders out). Will not give them another chance. Food was so-so, service was horrible, and it always takes at least an HOUR to get simple food ordered and out to eat. Was not compensated for time waiting and had to send an order back because it was not done correctly (burger and fries, how hard is that?). Unfortunately this is a local restaurant that we will no longer give another chance. Would hope they get their act together soon before they go out of business due to lack of customer service.

Went to dinner on Saturday April 9,2011 had the calamari and the pescatore, it was fabulous and I would defiantly go there and eat again. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice. It is the first place I have had Calamari prepared properly....Defiently a place to attend over and over to try the menu. I don't write reviews so that should tell you something.

Went to the Lake House for the first time last night. The food was amazing! I had a wonderful broiled crab cake entree, and my husband had a king cut prime rib that he loved. Our server, Taylor, was very helpful. After dinner in the porch, which has huge windows with views of Iona Lake, we went to the back bar. It was heated and enclosed, but I was informed by Alex, our bartender, that when the weather is nice enough they make it an open air deck. Outside the deck bar was a patio with two fire pits and a t.v. right next to the lake. Can't wait to go back again!

Nice place but the food is over salted and under seasoned ( the sides are frozen veg and over done potatoes ) a dinner for two was about $100 and not any better then a diner meal which is a shame because the location has a lot of potential. Kitchen nightmares should realy do a show on this place.

Went there for the first time last weekend and had a great time. The food & service was excellent! Our waitress Lauren recommended the Pescatore as a pasta dish and my husband couldnt stop raving about it after. Loved the fun & busy atmosphere of the deck and enjoyed meeting the owner who walked around to every table. Our waitress was very quick, friendly, beautiful, and very knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be back and recommending the Lake House to friends.

This place has been beautifully renovated from years past and it being on the lake makes it a new sight to see for sure, especially if you are a local like myself. Although I found that the food seemed to be a bit too pricey for what it was worth and they seemed to be out of a lot of items on the menu.Overall it seemed to be a bit unorganized, although the intentions were there.

The restaurant was beautiful and cozy, with a gorgeous view of the lake. I had the Lake House Sampler appetizer which had chicken finger, mozz. sticks and quesadilla's - delicious, the chili is to die for, and so was the chicken cheesesteak wrap with waffle fries! Yum! I'm going back to try some of the other dishes that looked very tasty. The staff was really nice, and the owner was walking around greeting people which I thought was a nice touch!

The place itself is nice but I was very disappointed in my entree. I ordered a seafood salad with "scallops" and "field greens." It was priced 13.99. I got a salad with a few microscopic baby scallops and a some calamari to compensate. Worst than that, though, the "field greens" were 100% bitter greens, making it very difficult to eat. Would not recommend this dish.

The appetizers and salad were nice and well done. Unfortunately, the main course was quite inedible. The salmon had a fishy smell and was very dry. The grilled vegetables, while looking fabulous, were too salty. The dessert was very nice, which saved the closure to the evening. Overall, we will order apps. and sandwiches, but no entrees.

Can't say enough about the new Lake House Restaurant. Wow!! The place is beautiful! Everything was wonderful, food tasted great with a picture perfect presentation, great service and cozy atmosphere. We have dined there twice - so far have tried the lobster bisque, scallop dinner, fried mozerella, fresh spinach salad, tuna steak sandwich, tater tots and waffle fries. Will be back soon.
