Absolutely LOVE, LOVE Lake Lila. Went there all the time for 30 years. Raised my 3 son's there and now they are taking their children there. You can camp right on the water and fish from your camp site. Just love this place. Peaceful and real showers and electric Never been to a camp grounds where you can fish right from your camp site. You will not be disappointed!!

LOL...I just HAD to laugh at this previous rating. If I hadn't read this blunt untruth on here I would not have reviewed. We toured this camp ground this summer. First off, a smelly huge ugly trash dumpster greets you upon entering Lake Lila. The owner/manager (Curly?) was rude, unfriendly & made awful remarks about quite a few of the seasonal campers who seemed to be nice. Many of the permanent camp sites where dirty with yards littered with a wide assortment of trash including broken chairs, old tent frames plus old cans & paper blowing around. This place is actually kind of scary, one can almost hear banjos distantly playing Deliverance with all the racist Rebel flags flying amongst the rundown dirty campers. (notice the hill jacks' spelling in the "seasoned" campers' review) WE had asked around about this place before driving out the pot holed road to get there but honestly had not believed that a place could be as bad as what we'd heard. I will say that we heard that 20 years ago it WAS a nice place but don't waste your time now. Could this be were all societies outcasts go? Being the cheapest place around to camp isn't a very good review.
