Amazing food, very romantic place to have dinner with that someone special. A little price-y but well worth every penny! It is also in an amazing location; on the water and in a very romantic and historic town.

Crowded, noisy, and menu items that are aimed at the "gourmet" but usually have one flavor too many per item, ie: hickory smoked tomato coulis with blue cheese potatoes etc. Have gone as complicated as possible, and the flavors end up muddling each other.

This extremely well known and popular restaurant has a great atmosphere being right on the Merrimack river, however, being popular means it's often extremely crowded and noisy with sometimes up to 2 hour wait times. Further, the food really doesn't live up to the atmosphere or the prices and often leaves me bored and a bit disappointed.
