Founded in 1989, Bennett and Company specializes in manufacturing and designing apparel for specialty retailers in the missy and plus-size markets. The firm designs and ships eco-friendly products and private-label lingerie to retailers throughout the United States, Europe, Canada and Asia. Based in Newburyport, Mass., it uses fabrics and laces made wholly/partly of bamboo, soybean, milk fiber, charcoal and recycled polyester. Bennett and Company has designed more than 60,000 styles of foundation garments, lingerie, sleepwear, daywear, corsets, casual wear and accessories.
