Lived there for 4 years from 2004 to 2008. The place was a dump. Management was suppose to give tenants information regarding their security deposit.It did not happen. Contact the attorney general in Albany NY. You should know which bank your rent is being deposited in.

Greenhouse Apartments is not what it was! The new management has done a lot with the landscaping and added much needed parking. Every apartment is tastefully updated, as needed, and prospective tenants are screened properly. Still very convenient place to live!!!

It's a nice place & so is the area. It is located close to major highways, interstate 84 & NYS Thurway. Close to the bus terminal & a short drive to Metro North Train Station. I don't think you would be disappointed.

I lived there 3 yrs ago and I have family who still live there and one thing I'll give them credit for is that your apt will be warm in the winter. They've changed mgmt lately and don't respond to snow removal they way they used to but compared to other complexes where heat and hot water are not included it's not that bad a deal. I think the rent is a little high for this economy and they can do a better job keeping the laundry clean but the tenants need to be a little more courteous and clean up after themselves.

They are always raising your rent, do not tell you who the property management is or what bank your security deposit is in. They are suppose to do this by law. No one ever cleans the laundry room, the machines are filthy. You loose your money in them all the time. Dryers do not dry properly. My carpet always has foam bunching up under it, still waiting for them to correct this. One maintenance person on site, they tell you he is busy. Air conditioners they give you no longer work. Still waiting 2 years now for a new one they keep saying I am suppose to get. There is not enought parking either, and you get a ticket on your car if you park where you are not suppose too. Lady in office is rude to everyone here. They should fire her. Still waiting for my new cabinets too now. All they do is lie to you. Landlord does not want you to know who he is. He lives in Long Island, in a real nice house I bet too. He even takes maintenance from here to work on his home. What a joke.

They raise your rent every year. They also refuse to furnish you with the name of the property management, and also refuse to furnish you with the name and address of the financial institution where your security deposit is. By law, they are suppose to do this. Tenants can also use some of their security interest towards rent also. They do not do this either.
