Glenn E. Hines Memorial Boys & Girls Club of Newburgh offers a range of after school programs for children and disadvantaged youth ages 6 through 18. It provides five-core program initiatives including arts, sports and fitness, social skills, character development and leadership development and education and career development. The club, based in Newburgh, N.Y., provides prevention programs for youth, including gang, alcohol, drug, tobacco, teen sex and pregnancy prevention. The youth at the club also receive tutoring, computer training, sports education, homework help and mentoring.
