The food was absolutely delicious. It was suggested to us as an alternative for date night, and it was an amazing suggestion. The burgers were perfect, and the garlic parmesan wings were the best wings I've ever had. Definitely recommend to everyone.

I was in Newark, Ohio with our grown daughters shopping. I was looking for a different place to take them to lunch. One of our daughters, suggested The Red Oak Pub. She had never eaten there, but thought it looked like an interesting place. We were pleasantly surprised! The menu's selected was excellent, when the food arrived, the portions were huge and was delicious. I have eaten all over the world and I must say, The Red Oak, is going to be one of my favorite places to eat! The service was friendly and excellent. The setting, was comfortable and family-friendly! I highly recommend The Red Oak to everyone! Thank you for making our lunch, the best! Could you possibly build one in Johnstown, Ohio? The need it and people are hoping for a GREAT place to eat!

The meatloaf and mashed potatoes was absolutely phenomenal. I love how the sauce hints at tastes of barbecue with a little tang but doesn't take away from the taste of the meatloaf. Most places wind up serving dry meatloaf, that wasn't the case with Red Oak, at all. The meatloaf was cooked to perfection and there wasn't a lump to be found in the potatoes. I'm totally getting this meal anytime I need a solid dose of comfort food. Wonderful service. So nice to see Mike working his way around the restaurant introducing himself and greeting guests. Perfect atmosphere.
