The Newark Fire Department provides a range of fire prevention, rescue and first response services for medical emergencies. It has been protecting and aiding the citizens of Newark in Ohio since 1886. The department operates several fire stations. The Newark Fire Department maintains a team of more than 60 firefighters and paramedics. It has a fleet of a ladder, dive rescue van, engines, and medical, command and hazardous material units.
