Attorney Robert Handelman has practiced law in Central Ohio since 1976. Attorney Handelman is a founder of the former Calig and Handelman Law Firm which had provided legal services throughout central Ohio for more than 20 years. Attorney Handelman provides legal representation primarily to individuals, families as well as small businesses. Mr. Handelman has been involved in the Newark and Licking County community in a number of volunteer, service, and leadership capabilities. He is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College and obtained his JD Degree from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Attorney Handelman is a member and past President of the Licking County Bar Association. He has been a thirty-three-year member of the Ohio state Bar, including service on its Family Law Section. Other legal association services include time served as Trustee of The Ohio Academy of Trial lawyers(now the Ohio Association for Justice). Mr. Handelman recently was certified as a Civil Law Mediator by the National Judicial College, and has served as a mediator for the Licking County Court.
