Glad to spend my money at a black owned business or African owned business.

Last month (February '12) I we...

Last month (February '12) I went to the Village Hotel to get information about rates and was actually shown two different rooms with baths. They were okay and reasonable at $40.00 a night. I moved out of my room and went to South Carolina to visit my sister who was in the hospital for open heart surgery. When I got back a week later, I walked a few blocks to the hotel from Newark Penn Station (Amtrak). When I told the same African man who gave me all the information before I left New Jersey that I was there to get a room and I didn't know how long I would need it , he told me that they did not have any rooms available (this was on a Thursday afternoon). When I asked what they had , he said, "Forty dollars for four hours" that's when I noticed some guys and girls leaving the hotel. So I don't have any hotel ratings but it is a busy little two story brothel-the Hispanic woman was busy changing covers and people were in and out and this Black woman was not getting any sympathy from the desk clerk who was busy getting everybody in and out on time. As I walked to nowhere I passed a Goodwill building where I went in and was given the name of St.___ where I could go to rest my tired aching bones. I don't understand why this brothel is listed as a hotel-they had me thinking I would be able to get a room there but they are phoney liars. Are they legal?
