What a terrible experience.We have been here on numerous occasions. Service was lackluster then, but last Sunday, it was horrific.The waitress came over with her long disgusting nails, tapping on the table, as if we were taking up too much of her time. I asked for water, and my aunt asked for Tea. Never got them. I wanted turkey wings, but they were out. A friend told me it was ok, because I wasn't missing anything. My aunt wanted fried chicken, not fried too hard. Well, it was so hard, she couldn't eat it there. She had to take it home and steam it. She also had potato salad. She said there was too much sugar in it, and called it Sweet potato salad for the rest of the evening. She took it home and added potatoes and eggs to it to get the sweet taste out. I asked for collard greens, but they were collards mixed with cabbage. That's not what I asked for. Cornbread was heated in the microwave, so it was hard and dry. The waitress graciously took it back after I had to find someone to find her. They took a whole 1.00 off the bill because I didn't eat the collards MIXED WITH CABBAGE. I over-tipped the waitress simply because I will never eat there again. I want her to remember us, just like I will never forget our experience there. Wow.

I was at Kings Restaurant yesterday for takeout. I got the Fried Fish Dinner with Potato Salad & Mac and Cheese.. My daughter and mom got the Fried Fish Dinner with Mac and Chesse & Yams.. Oh my goodness I think we all were eating and swinging our feet at the same time. The Food is not only good to the last drop. But, its also very fresh. The staff is so nice and fast. And most of all please note that the Restaurant is very clean. We try our best to cook at home. But, when your eating food from Kings Restaurant its just like eating at home. Thank you very much for always keeping your customers happy. I can't wait to visit again.
