Great food great fun,its the place to be on a saturday night grown and sexy.

Had a party at The Blue Mirror last week for The Birthday Club at my job....we had so much fun. We were at work still talking about the party and it was 3 days ago.. The music was good,the food was good and it was comedy night it that top it all...And our waitress Mia...is the best!!!!! Thinking about having a lil Xmas party there.......

Will me and my girlfriends went there last night, and it was really nice and you do forget whats outside the door once you enter the joint..lol

I went to this lounge twice within the last week and it was awesome both times. One event was a private party and the other time was a Friday night out with my girlfirends. The atmosphere and decor was great! Very well done and great bar with big screen televisions and very nice staff. The crowd was live both times.This past Friday a singer/pianist performed, A Class Act, they were really good. Excellent drinks and nice menu selections as well. A pleasant and refreshing retreat in Newark's lounge scene. Ample parking in a lighted parking lot right next to the lounge as well as plenty of street parking. Great place to be afterwork.

Location IS everything, but don't let this one scare you away. Yes, it's on Clinton Avenue in Newark, (a block or so from notorious Stratford Pl) but once inside, you will forget that you are in Newark. Feels more like a hip NY city spot and looks it too. Very nice atmosphere, beautifully updated, with warm brick and transparent bar. Staff was very friendly and the food is good as well. The drinks are very generous (if you know what I mean) for the price and I nor my entourage had any complaints. There is a parking lot and while I'm sure they had a security presence, it wasn't evident because the clientele did not warrant such a distraction. I would definitely go there again, and recommend it to others. Great place to have a small party, gathering, or girls night out and skip the pricey parking in NYC.

The restaurant is located just outside of the downtown district on Clinton Avenue within the south ward, this place really brings class back to the neighborhood. If you are looking to meet quality people, meet friends, or just enjoy a good meal I highly recommend patrons to frequent this establishment.
